Embroidered Mexican Bag - Royal Blue

These amazing bags are handmade in Southern Mexico. To begin, the fabric itself is woven using a backstrap loom, which is worn around the waist and fastened to a wall or tree. Once the fabric is made, it is embroidered with birds or flowers representative of the local flora and fauna before being sewn along both sides. The bag itself is unlined and does not have a fastening across the top. 

Each bag is completely unique and a piece of wearable art in our opinion!
